Zeke Meyer
Herbert Ernest "Zeke" Meyer (11 March 1892 Providence, Rhode Island – 27 April 1962 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American racecar driver. He was not related to fellow driver Louis Meyer.

Oldest Driver in major races.
Raced in at least 11 Indianapolis 500 mile races.
1928 - One of STUDEBAKER team that drove stock STUDEBAKERS 30,000 miles in 26,326 minutes at Atlantic City Speedway.
1932 - Drove a semi-stock STUDEBAKER into sixth place with average of 98.4 miles per hour.
1933 - Drive a semi-stock STUDEBAKER into ninth place with average of 98.8 miles per hour.
1936 - Drove a STUDEBAKER powered front drive into ninth place with average of 101.3 miles per hour. Averaged over 14 miles per gallon at that killing pace. Used only 2 quarts of oil. His own son, Charles, acted as his riding mechanic, forming first father and son team ever to compete in the big race.
Started three times in STUDEBAKERS and finished in the money all three times.
Member of the most exclusive club in the world - 100 Mile Per Hour Club. Twenty- one members. To become a member, one must drive 500 miles without relief and average better than 100 miles per hour.
Only man ever to start an automobile 10,00 feet above ground.
